We had a fantastic time. More than 2 dozen people showed up at the farm and the shooting activity was pretty hectic with everyone buzzing around from darkbox to camera, and back. The weather was fairly warm, but we were in such a frenzy shooting wet plates that we barely noticed. It was a wonderful gathering of supportive folks. You really should try to make it next year. I won't be going home until 2 more weeks, but hopefully someone will post some pictures soon. Especially nice was the composite picture of the photographers  that John made with his multiple image camera.

It was a very nice time...a lot of friendly people with black fingers.

Bruce, sorry I missed you yesterday morning, you forgot your tins in the
wagon shed gallery, we sent them back with Euphus...

Great pics David!
I just got back home an hour ago. Steve and I drove 13 hours to Ohio last
night and I packed up and drove another 10 hours back to Oklahoma last
night/today. Not sure how I did it without sleeping (other than a quick hour
nap at a rest stop.)
It was a fun time. I learned tons!

It was definitely an incredible time! Saw some old friends from last year and met some very interesting and talented folks and a ton of great work was done. The wetplate shooting ran the gamut from "Pringles" can pinhole plates and Holga tins to a "walk-inside" camera obscura (and just about everything in between).
Thankfully, the weather gods in Dundee blessed us with much better conditions than last year....although the balloon was cancelled last minute because of fear of inclement weather on Sat. (which never materialised). Once again Mike Jacobsen (Artcraft Chemicals) provided a catered "all-you-can-eat" buffet on Saturday afternoon for everyone (thanks Mike!).  I highly recommend that anyone who possibly can make it to the Jamboree try to go next year....I guarantee you'll become a regular! Its always inspirational to hang around with John Coffer and spend time on his farm....
I'll post some digital shots and some plates shortly...

Really a great bunch of guys  and gals  and just a wonderful time .
John Coffer is a great cornerstone of our craft, and there could not be a more perfect setting for this event.

I am looking forward to next year. Enjoyed finally meeting all the loyal

tintypists and ambrotypists.

Lots of hard work and great fun
