Thank you to all who have already signed up for our Scotland workshops. The Platinum/Digital Negative workshop is now filled. We still have a couple of spaces available for the Wet Plate Collodion workshop, so if you're interested, sign up soon. Details are available on my website HERE.

Matt it would be great if you could join us. Carl is a great host, but I would agree with him that dreamy isn't the first word that comes to mind. Although I guess it depends what your dreams are like!

Thanks for the gear offer, John! We will be in touch.

I trust it is Scotland that has the dreamy effect rather than me but it would be great to meet!

Had a couple of emails re equipment. There will be access to three cameras and two silver baths on the wet plate workshop so no need to have your own camera but feel free to bring your own if you wish!

QTR on both mac and windows systems.

After a long phone conversation with my UK brother Carl Radford over the weekend, he has once again kindly offered his home for two workshops next summer. So I am happy to announce that I'll be returning to Scotland to teach wet plate collodion and platinum/palladium printing with digital negatives in 2010. There are still many details to be worked out, but we have set the dates:

Introduction to Wet Plate Collodion - July 10-11, 2010

Making Digital Negatives with QTR and Platinum/Palladium Printing: - July 13-14, 2010

The wet plate workshop will be limited to six (one spot is already reserved). The platinum workshop will be limited to five (two spots aready reserved).

I will post additional details as they are finalized, but as I learned from the 2008 trip, you can never start planning too soon!

Thank you.
