May 23, 24. I will be making ambrotypes demonstrating the process and also selling plates on this event that is taking place in the Klosterhof (cloister yard?) every second year. Parking space is very limited, if anyone wants to come. Adventurously, I'm still working on my darkbox... Jan |

I'm quite happy with the market in Seligenstadt. I set up under an oak tree, my darkbox worked well, there was beautiful light, very nice people and I sold pictures I would have liked to keep. I will post here an example (of the left over ones) soon. Jan |

| So these are more or less the only ones I have now! This family got an even nicer plate(that I have no copy of). If I had wanted to land somewhere between Cameron and let's say Lewis Carroll, could I ask for more, concerning the models? One plate is varnished, the second one is not (yet). about 5x7 BGA with Ray Morgenweck Collodion (KaI, KaBr) and "Kleffels" Developer, German mix with some nitric acid. Hermagis Petzval wide open. The plates came out quite silvery, almost like a mirror. |
