The forum is back online, and will continue to stay up. A huge thank you to Quinn, who created this magnificent space and who graciously sold the forum so that we can keep it online.

More to come soon, but for all those who needed somewhere to help understand wet plate better, this is still the place.

So glad this is back! Thank you for caring enough to give this community a second life. Although participation in traditional forums has changed over the years as the web and social media platforms have evolved, it's nice to have this "old workhorse" of a site back up and running. It would have been a shame to lose the vast treasure trove of all the knowledge and advice shared here over the years.

Hey!

I'm still here - have been a little busy with life stuff, but recently put some fixes into the site (images are working properly now, adding some bits to manage bots, etc).

I'm an amateur at wet plate, and have depended so much on this site when I started that I did not want to see the wealth of information lost. I also don't tend to share much personal info online, but if it is helpful I am happy to share. Let me know what would be helpful (including things to improve on the site).

Hello Simon,
We were just talking about this forum today on my show. A lot of people are happy it's here. With the other social media sites being what they are, this should be promoted and used. I'll try to do my part. Thanks!

I just checked in after a little bird told me someone has waited months to have their membership request acted upon.  Not sure who gives access anymore, but word is you cannot get in today.
