Hello Everyone,

I'm considering an offer from the New England area to re-open www.AltPhotoSource.com and start offering kits and chemistry again. I would act as a "consultant" and, from a distance, help where I can. Obviously, this would be the exact same formulae and products as before but would ship from the New England area.

I've had some inquiries before and didn't pay a lot of attention to them. However, after getting emails about chemistry (even though the store says it "closed") I thought this might be a good thing.

I would appreciate you posting any feedback you might have as the party involved will be reading the "desire" for this service and even just your thoughts.

Thanks.

I think reopening would be great. I want to get my paws black but putting
all the chemicals seems so daunting.

I have to agree that the concept of being able to buy premade chems would
be wonderful.
I've recently had some rather sketchy events that have questioned whether I
should be mixing WP chems in my small apartment. This could potentially
alleviate some of those concerns for myself and others in similar
circumstances.

I think having access chemistry kits would be great! Being a total WP
newbie, it seems like a much less daunting task to focus on the content and
lighting than have to worry so much about the chemistry.

As a complete newbie I can't think of anything I'd like more as a help in starting out. I'd think of it in terms of training wheels. Please go for it.

Looks like a trend Q. There's no doubt you would have support from the wP
community. It would especially be nice for newbies with enough caution
regarding chemistry.

best,

Please do it quickly! I just had a tutorial in collodion and want to begin
before I forget everything. It is daunting trying to piece everything together
from various sources on the internet.

This is my first day on the forum. Please let me know when and thanks for
letting me in.
