That third portrait is my fav.  It's not easy to get it all together with a Verito on wetplate, these sure look great.

Well, no. Despite what Zach told me on the phone, they are almost 2.75" diameter at their max, not 2.4". I ended up staggering them with 27 watt daylight bulbs from Home Depot and that worked out fine. I pretty pleased with the skin tones. Here are a couple of the Ansel Adams Gallery employees that gleefully sat for portraits:

The day before the workshop we set up and made some portraits to test the chemistry and my new Fotodiox light. Poor Sarah got stuck with the funny looking model:

OK, excuse me while I play proud papa for a minute. My 14-year old daughter Sarah joined us for the first day and a half of the workshop. She got a hold of an old Box Brownie that I brought and started pouring. She has poured a few plates before, but not since last summer in Scotland. Here are a couple of hers from Yosemite. They are about 2"x3.5" on aluminum:





She was also helpful in coaching students on pouring and developing techniques when I was busy with others. More pictures to follow...
