Oh wow. Where have I been? I thought there were two separate events and the worldwide wet plate day was June 21. Thanks for the post.

Thats too bad, but under cover or an indoor still life still should work. Good luck Eddie. I checked my chems last night and other than a little fog everything is fine.

Raining here too, dammit. I'm still waiting for my model to show up, we'll have to work under fluorescents.

For what it's worth, I love the rainy weather. Â After wrapping my film holder in a wet towel, I have been able to shoot on the road. Plenty of UV for me. Â I just did a plate from a local cemetery. Â 20 minutes from coating to developing without a hint of dry out. Â I wonder how long I can push this?

Raining here too...but my model and I are due to shoot in 1 hour. It could prove to be quite interesting since it's a nude in the rain. Hopefully she'll have a good sense of humor.

[with the benefit of hindsight, it appears better to keep the shot on the designated website]

Rain this morning. Cleared at noon, with sun an hour later. Kousa is the bomb (even better mammoth!) and the Beech lost its virginity for this event. Thanks Q and the gang- can't wait to see the rest.

I am stoked! I got a couple of good really shots, including a great stereoview. I just finished uploading them to the gallery so they should appear soon.
