Quinn,

In case, you do not know, your "index/default page" does not show 100% without scrolling horizontally on 800x600 resolution.

Other pages that need to be scrolled to be viewed are the following:

http://www.altphotosource.com/store/products.asp?cat=12

http://www.altphotosource.com/store/products.asp?cat=14

All other pages are fine without scrolling horizontally.

Hi Quinn,

Could you possibly send some of your shop's items to France ? What about
the chemicals : is there a problem with Hazmat to sent them overseas ?

Hi Jimmy,

Right now, I cannot do any international shipping of liquid chemicals. I am trying to find a way I can do this that would be cost effective. So far, I'm not having very good luck - however, stay tuned, you never know what might happen.

You've probably thought of this already, but for those of us that want to do collodion while traveling overseas, it would be great if you could provide a shipping pipeline to get the materials there. I know someone who is going to spain this year and it's going to cost her a fortune to ship her chemicals over there.

Tell me about it. When I moved to Switzerland it was going to cost me
$600USD JUST to ship my chemicals over. You HAVE TO use a Bond shipper,
lots of paper work ect....

Good point.

It is a VERY difficult process. The problem is that the stuff normally goes by air - I'm trying to find a way to get small quantities (ORM-D) shipped other ways or less restrictive ways.

I am working on. I plan to go to Europe and shoot at some point too, so I think it's worth the effort to find a cost effective way to get chemistry there. I already know that the kits are being viewed differently than packed raw chemistry.. slowly, but surely.

I really hope the shipping issues to Europe works out, I have been looking at the images posted here and have trouble getting my jaw up from the floor. I just have to try this.

Hello Blix (and welcome),

I do too. Right now, I can ship a kit to Bergen, Norway for $287 USD (DHL) and it would be there in two days. I am working on a slower, cheaper method.

I'll keep you posted.
