I am looking for a local source (Cleveland,Ohio area) for bulk Glacial Acetic Acid (3-4 gallons). My local "professional" photo supply store has stopped carrying it. I'm going up to John Coffers middle of next week and he has asked if possible that I bring this up for him. It's not really a big deal, but I'd like to help him out if possible. Any thoughts on other "sources" that would carry it? I did a "GOOGLE" search but came up empty handed...

Thanks for any help/suggestions,
Greg

Just found a few chemical distributors in your area...not sure if they will sell to an individual, but worth a try.

Thanks Andy...hopefully one of them can help me out.

Matt, as far as I know Mike does still carry it...I think that John was just hoping to save on shipping costs since I am coming anyway and offered to bring along anything he might need....

A camera store that I used to deal with could order it.  I never bought because they would only order and sell it by the case (4, 1gal jugs).  They didn't want to keep it on the shelf because it would never sell, but they could get it.

If you want to swing through NY City, B&H carries it in one gallon bottles. They won't ship due to haz-mat restrictions.

I use a local Pharmacy (not CVS, Walgreens, etc).  They get it for me in a couple of days.
