Upcoming Wet Plate Class

I wanted to let everyone know that there is an excellent wet plate class coming up in August at the Photographer's Formulary in Montana. I took the class last summer and learned a great deal from the two excellent instructors. In fact, I had my first wet plate show just three months ago.

You will learn to make ambrotypes, tintypes, wet plate negatives, and one printing process for the negatives--usually salt prints.

The darkroom facilities are the best I've seen anywhere.

You have options for lodging. Camping on site with sleeping bag or motor home--your option. Stay in the lodge on site or small motel down the street.
