My assistant and I just walked 2000 copies of the book up 17 stairs to the studio today. They have arrived and look great. I am very pleased. Soon, like a week or so they will be available to purchase on my website www.blackbarneditions.com There will be a secure cc link to buy. I am going to the post office tomorrow to calculate the shipping cost. The book is retailing for $70. Any member can purchase one for $50. plus shipping. Anyone interested can pm me here.

That's his job! haha! It's going to be reviewed on the photondetector blog, and we were up for an astounding 30 hours as the lead post on modblog over the weekend (resulting in 25 sales in two days.. hooray!) I'm mailing Quinn his copy this week, and hopefully he'll do a review. As far as a preview, check out my posts relating to the project, but binocular design in NYC and Studley press in MA did an incredible job with the images. You'll just have to buy one! If you go to www.blackbarneditions.com you can email info, and we will contact you with shipping info and we can take cc info. You can also go to the online store at bmezine.com. but it's cheaper to buy it from me!
Thanks! Matt

Matt -

As a new guy, I am not familiar with the subject and scope of the book you are talking about here.  Can you fill me in briefly?

Thanks, Jim T.
