Â

and metal plates to make Ambrotypes,
Tintypes and Glass Negatives. All aspects of the process, from plate
preparation to plate
 display will be covered.
Â
Participants will use several plate cameras
and chemistry to make their own imagery.
Â
Included in the workshops are the use of
chemistry, materials and large format cameras,
as well as a take home “how to†book.
Â
The cost of the two day workshop is 350.00,
including materials.
Â
There has been a significant revival in the
use of this historical photographic process,
which was widely used from the 1850’s to the 1880’s.
Fine Art photographers such as Sally Mann and Robert Maxwell
have been using the
process for both gallery and commercial work.
