I'm not sure if this is the right forum for this, as it's not specifically a wet-plate demo, workshop, etc., but... it will be a great opportunity to shoot some plates (or whatever you want to shoot with) of some unique subjects.
Tableau vivant (plural: tableaux vivants) is French for
"living picture." The term describes a striking group of suitably
costumed actors or artist's models, carefully posed and often
theatrically lit. Throughout the duration of the display, the people
shown do not speak or move. The approach thus marries the art forms of
the stage with those of painting and photography. This year begins the first annual http://tilburycamp.webs.com/tableauxvivants.htm - Tableaux Vivant
event in Kitsap County. Painters and photographers are invited to
register for this event. The cost is $150 for the day and the day
begins with early light at 6:30 am ending at dusk. A full lunch will be
served. Medieval, Renaissance, 18th and 19th century themes will be staged throughout the
day with several still life set ups. Stay tuned for more information and
early registration details. Don't miss this unique opportunity! Please visit the link below for more information: http://tilburycamp.webs.com/tableauxvivants.htm - http://tilburycamp.webs.com/tableauxvivants.htm
