I'm planning on my first trip this year and will have my new darkbox in tow.  Field shooting is new to me, so I may be in the running for the Sally Mann prize.  :)

I will be there as usual.
I have been to every one of them!!! I think only me and John can say that.

The BBQ is all lined up with Watkins Glen Raceway Head Caterer, Butch Talada Saturday at 1:00 pm or thereabouts. He does a great job every year as anyone who has tasted his ribs or chicken certainly knows.

If you want me to bring chems for you to John Coffer's, just let me know and give me a call beforehand. I just bring what people requested, I don't just bring a bunch of random products. Of course, as I am going there anyways, there will be no charge for shipping.

Hope to see alot of familiar faces and to match-up the voices on the phone to the new faces.

Lets hope there isn't any rain.

Mike,

When I was there the food was great and appreciated especially after dealing with the soggy weather.  I went and bought a pair of high rubber galoshes afterward and threw them in the Magic Bus just in case of another NY monsoon.

Can anyone recommend an inexpensive but good motel in the area?  I've done the tepee and the tent and am getting too old and creaky to do much camping anymore.  Just need someplace to crash and shower.  I imagine local places might be hard to find in the summer because of the Watkin Glens racetrack and Seneca Lake.

If I can sell a few cameras and lenses soon, I may make the trip again this year.  It's a good time with a lot of great folks.

I plan on coming, but I'm still putting my darkbox together, broke my wife's favorite  late model sewing machine while making the shroud, now using a 1940 singer featherweight (sometimes the old stuff works better).

Sadly had to miss it. Loaded up my van Wednesday evening, woke up Thursday to a broken window and my Hasselblad and Canon kits gone. Luckily, they were all recovered Saturday.

Yeah, Andrew, everything is there, untouched. just screwed up my plans. This was to have been the second highlight of the summer for me... I REALLY wanted to be there. Hopefully, next year will be better, this one has been like the universe has squatted over my life and sh?!!t on it!
